Please take note of the following: 

  1. PSAC Modular Assessment 2019 Grade 5

On Thursday 10 October 2019, PSAC Assessment for Grade 5 will be conducted at school .The following will apply:

Wednesday 09 October 2019   : School for Pre Primary, Grade 1 to Grade 4 and Grade 6 pupils will end at 12.00 hrs.

: School for Grade 5 pupils will end at 14.30 hrs

Thursday 10 October 2019       : There will be no school for Pre Primary, Grade 1 to Grade 4 and Grade 6 pupils.

School will resume normally on Friday 11 October 2019 at 08.30 hrs for all classes

  1. National Exams for Grade 4 and 5. (Changes may apply)

Grade 4 and 5 pupils will be on holiday as from 18 October 2019 but they will have to attend rehearsals for the school show. 

  1. PSAC Assessment 2019 Grade 6

Due to PSAC Assessment for Grade 6 which will be conducted at school, the following will apply:

Monday 28 October 2019                                               : School for Pre Primary, Grade 1 to Grade 3 will end at 12.00 hrs.

Tuesday 29 October to Monday 04 November 2019: There will be no school for Pre Primary, Grade 1 to Grade 3.

School will resume normally on Tuesday 05 November 2019 at 08.30 hrs for Pre primary, Grade 1 to Grade 3

Grade 3 pupils will be on holiday as from Wednesday 6 November 2019. However they will still have to attend rehearsals for the school show during the school holidays.

Please note that there will be school and classes will be held as usual between 08.30 to 15.00 hrs on Tue 22/10/19 and Wed 06/11/19. There will be no school on the 7 and 8 November 2019 due to general elections.

  1. School show & Holidays for Pre primary, Grades 1 & 2

On Monday 11 November 2019 there will be rehearsals for the school show for pupils of Prep, Grades 1 & 2.

On Tuesday 12 November 2019, pupils of Pre-primary, Grades 1 & 2 will be presenting a show at school at 10:00 hrs.

Parents are cordially invited.

School will end at 12.00 hrs and Grades 1 & 2 pupils will be on school holiday.

The Pre-primary section will be on school holiday as from Friday 29 November 2019 and school will end at 12.00 on that day.

  1. Concours Alliance Française 2019 Grade 5 (Changes may apply)

The Alliance Française “Concours Primaire” for Grade 5 will be held on Saturday 16 November 2019 at Ecole Notre Dame de la Visitation R.C.A, Visitation Lane, Vacoas from 10.00 hrs to 11.45 hrs. Candidates should proceed directly to the centre and be there by 09.45 hrs at latest along with their Index Number. Any errors in name spelling should be reported to the invigilators on the day of the assessment.

Classes will be held at school for pupils taking part in the “concours” between 09:00 to 12:00 on: Mon 21/10/19, Friday 25/10/19, Wednesday 6/11/19

  1. Report Book

Report book for Pre primary and Primary will be remitted to parents on Saturday 30 November 2019 at 09.30 hrs to 12.00 hrs

  1. Digital coding for Youngsters

Grade 4 pupils have completed a course on digital coding dispensed by the National Computer Board as part of the Digital Youth Engagement Programme 

  1. End of year school show ‘Le Roi Lion’

The school show ‘Le Roi Lion’ will be presented on Wednesday 4 December 2019 and Thursday 5 December 2019

at 18:00 hrs at the Serge Constantin theatre, Vacoas.

Tickets for the show are on sale at school.

Please note that tickets will be on sale on a first come first serve basis and if seats are not available for a particular date,tickets will be issued for the next day of the show. No tickets will be on sale at the theatre

Only ticket holders will be allowed inside the theatre.

  1. Office hours & Resumption of school 2020

The school office will remain open during the school holidays between 09.30hrs and 14:00 hrs except on 23 December 2019 to 6 January 2020

School for Pre Primary, Grades I to VI resumes for Year 2020 on Monday 13 January 2020 at 08.30 hrs
